Arlington voters adopted the Community Preservation Act yesterday in a 10,034–8,487 vote, according to unofficial results posted by the Town Clerk.
Question 5, which establishes a dedicated community-preservation fund in Arlington, carried 16 of Arlington's 21 precincts, including all of East Arlington. The town-wide vote was 54.18% in favor, 45.82 against.
